FIELD: training simulators; sport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to training devices for developing the skills of an athlete, in particular for training the vestibular apparatus of sportsmen engaged in figure skating. Simulator for training the vestibular skills of the athlete contains platform (1) rotatably mounted in the rebound zone of athlete (9), made in the form of a platform, wherein the platform is connected to angular planetary gear (2), first electric motor (3) and the control-converting unit of electric motor (4), wherein first electric motor (3) is operable in the closed or open loop mode; means (14) for securing the mechanism of retaining athlete (10) in the air, which is lifting cable (13) connected to reduction gear (5), second electric motor (6) and the control-converting unit of second electric motor (7); computer module (8) comprising a processor and at least one memory means configured to generate and transmit control signals to control and transforming units of first (4) and second (7) electric motors, computing unit (8) receiving data from the control-converting unit of first electric motor (4) characterizing the rotation speed of the first electric motor, determines the amount of platform speed adjustment (1) based on obtained platform rotation speed data (1), and generates, on the basis of platform rotation speed (1), a control signal sent to the control-converting unit of second motor (7), on the basis of which the activation of second electric motor (6) is formed to keep the athlete in the air.

EFFECT: improved quality of the process of training skaters by means of the improved design of the simulator in terms of the mechanism of rotation, which brings its work closer to real conditions, as well as improved accuracy of data on the progress of the exercise by means of ensured collection of statistical parameters for the performance of the athlete exercises directly from the rotation mechanism.
