FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-fighting equipment, namely to fire extinguishing powder compositions for multi-purpose use that can be used to extinguish fires of Class A, B, and can also locate burning hydrocarbon fuels by adsorbing them with an active adsorbent included in the fire extinguishing powder compositions. Multi-purpose fire-extinguishing powder is described, containing extinguishing component – ammophos, additive to reduce hydrophobicity and caking, target additive for increasing flowing, additive of an active adsorbent of flammable liquids, in which, as a hydrophobic and anti-caking additive, it contains methyl silicium with a specific surface of at least 300 m2/g, as the target additive for flowing, it contains an ion-lattice mineral of apatite-nepheline ores with a density of at least 2.8 g/m3, as an active adsorbent, it contains a zeolite-containing feed at the following proportions of components, wt%: ammophos 50–70, ion-lattice mineral 10–15, methyl siliceous 1–3, zeolite-containing raw materials – the rest.
EFFECT: multipurpose fire extinguishing powder, having high fireproofness, caking, fire-extinguishing ability and a sorption capacity of oil product absorption has been obtained.
