FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of fire-extinguishing powders, namely to compositions which can be used for extinguishing of fires of B, C, D classes, as well as of live electrical installations (class E fire). Fire-extinguishing powder of multipurpose purpose includes powdered components of two different fractions: coarse mineral base, for example, from hydrophobisated limestone (or dolomite, slate, shell, magnesite) with particle size from 0.05 to 0.3 mm, anticaking agent and finely dispersed yellow blood salt or red blood salt with particle size from 0.001 to 0.030 mm, wherein content of components in the mixture is in the following ratio, wt%: yellow blood salt 1–30 %, anti-caking agent, for example aerosil (or white soot, magnesium oxide, bentonite) 0.1–5 %, hydrophobisated mineral base, for example limestone (or dolomite, slate, shell, magnesite) – the rest, or red blood salt 1–30 %, anticaking agent, for example aerosil (or white soot, magnesium oxide, bentonite) 0.1–5 %, hydrophobisated mineral base, for example limestone (or dolomite, slate, shell, magnesite) – the rest.
EFFECT: disclosed is method of producing fire-extinguishing multipurpose powder.
