FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied in fire fighting. Multipurpose fire extinguishing powder is obtained by mixing, drying and grinding highly disperse additive, water repellent fluid and main component. Hydrophobised mix of white black with particle size of 20-35 nm and microtalc at 1:(0.1-2) ratio is used as highly disperse additive, with microtalc of the following particle weight part content determined by the method of sedimentation, %: particles under 20 mcm - at least 97; under 10 mcm - at least 82; under 5 mcm - at least 5. Siloxane and formaldehyde copolymer is used as water repellent fluid. Main component can be ammophos, natural phosphorites, sodium bicarbonate, sylvinite, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, talc magnesite, magnesite, silica, nepheline, phlogopite, ammonium sulphate.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption, improved fire extinguishing capacity, water repulsion and fluidity, reduced tendency to water absorption and lumping.
