FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to improve electrical safety during remote monitoring when working on electrical installations with a voltage higher than 1000 V of industrial frequency, especially in the field environment. In the method for determining the presence or absence of voltage in electrical products, in places of insulation absence a complex chemical compound of octahedral structure with a high magnetization degree is applied on them, when the current passes over 1000 V the chemical composition causes glowing and stops it when the current disappears. Ferric ferrocyanide with the modified formula (Ni0.22, Mn0.60Fe0.18)1.5[Cr(CN)6]×7.6H2O or nickel salt of formic acid Ni(HCOO)2×2H2O is used as a complex chemical compound of the octahedral structure with a high magnetization degree.
EFFECT: method for determining the presence or absence of voltage allows to quickly and accurately determine the voltage, reduces monitoring time and improves performance.
