SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a cassette with a dye suitably used for a copying machine and printer, and also to an image forming apparatus comprising a cassette with a dye. Claimed dye cassette comprises a cassette main body comprising a dye and having an outlet for discharging the dye outwardly from the cassette main body, conveyor transporting the dye in the main body of the cassette towards the outlet, first tube, located in the main body of the cassette, so as to cover the outlet opening, and second tube connected to the inside of the first tube on the downstream side of the outlet in the dye conveying direction and extending in a direction crossing the transporting direction, along with this conveyor comprising: a rotating shaft supported rotatably in the main cassette body, a first blade disposed on the circumferential surface of the rotating shaft and allowing the dye to be applied towards the downstream side in the transporting direction, and a second blade disposed on the peripheral surface of the rotary shaft on the downstream side of the outlet in the transporting direction and allowing the dye to be applied towards the upstream side in the transporting direction, wherein the first blade is fixed between one end of the rotating shaft and the outlet opening, the first tube passes in the horizontal direction, the second tube extends upwardly from the peripheral surface of the first tube, a storage chamber is located inside the main body of the cassette, in which the dye is stored, inside the second tube there is a removal chamber connected to the inside of the first tube, the second tube is provided with a through hole for directly connecting the storage chamber and the removal chamber, the main body of the cassette comprising: a storage cassette in the form of a box with an open top surface, and a cover closing the upper surface of the storage cassette, and a through hole is formed between the upper end of the second tube and the bottom surface of the lid.

EFFECT: technical result is to provide an opportunity to prevent failure due to the failure of the dye release.
