FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a toner cartridge and a toner feed mechanism to be used to form an electrophotographic image. Disclosed group of inventions includes versions of toner cartridges installed in a receiving device, wherein the receiving device includes a toner receiving opening and a side guide of the receiving device and versions of toner supply mechanisms comprising said receiving device and toner cartridges. Toner cartridge is removably mounted in the receiving device, wherein the receiving device includes a toner receiving opening and a side guide of the receiving device, comprising: container including a toner accommodation section, a toner discharge outlet from the said accommodation section to the said receiving opening and the cartridge lateral guide, configured for guiding by receiving device side guide and opening/closing element, including a closing section for closing said outlet opening, an engaging section engaged with the side guide of the receiving device, wherein said opening/closing member is configured to move relative to said container between a closing position to cause said closure section to close said outlet and an opening position to cause opening by said closing section of said outlet opening, wherein, when said toner cartridge is removed from said receiving device, said engaging section receives by engagement with side guide of receiving device force to move said opening/closing element relative to said container from opening to closing position.

EFFECT: technical result is to prevent leakage of toner outside from outlet.
