FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the field of mechanics, microsystem engineering and nanomechanics, in particular to the manipulator technique (tweezers) for capturing and moving nano- and micro-objects. Essence of the inventions is that the micromanipulator contains at least one manipulating element made of a composite and one-dimensional, wherein at least one manipulating member comprises an inner metallic magnetostrictive core and an outer metallic magnetostrictive sheath, and the magnetostriction constant of the outer shell differs in sign or magnitude from the constant magnetostriction of the core, and the outer metallic magnetostrictive shell asymmetrically covers the core surface, and only partially.

EFFECT: creation of a manipulator with increased range of movements by the object manipulator, as well as the movement of magnetic and non-magnetic nano- and micro-objects.
