FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for scanning the fluorescence spectrum of a research object excited by a laser source and displaying the result in the form of images in the visible and IR ranges. Device uses an optical fiber waveguide that converts linear fragments of a two-dimensional image of the spectrum of the fluorescent emission line of an object into a one-dimensional line transmitted to a monochrome linear video sensor.
EFFECT: increased speed of data processing.
