FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of apparatus for preparing a beverage by extracting substances for producing a food product by passing under pressure a liquid extractant, such as hot or cold water. Food product, such as coffee or tea, is contained in the consumables to be inserted into these apparatuses. Thus, in general, the beverage can be coffee, tea, soup, hot or cold chocolate, milk or a baby food product. In particular, the present invention relates to a capsule-type consumable (30) with a substance incorporated therein for producing a food product for use in dispenser (10) for preparing food products. Consumable member (30) comprises body (76) comprising at least one rigid part (82) in the form of a wall, impermeable to liquid, inlet (140) adapted to allow a flow of pressurized water into housing (76), when dispensing member (30) is inserted into dispenser processing unit (14), at least one main outlet part (142) adapted to provide the outlet of the main fluid from housing (76), at least two different chambers (34, 36) , located in housing (76), and an internal flow regulation device (84) operatively connected to at least one of the at least two distinct chambers (34, 36). Adaptation device (84) for adjusting the internal flow is configured to function between a first position and a second position to selectively provide or prevent the flow of fluid from said at least one chamber (34, 36) so as to activate the flow rate of the auxiliary fluid in a second position. Invention furthermore relates to processing unit (14) for dispenser (10), as well as to dispenser (10).

EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of controlling the device for regulating the internal flow without the need for using sophisticated controls and driving elements.
