SUBSTANCE: opening device (1) for a container comprises pouring spout (12) defining pouring opening (14) to pour in use the content of the container, closing element (15) closing pouring opening (14) and connected to pouring spout (12) by breakable connecting means (16), and closure (18) fitted to pouring spout (12) in a removable manner to close pouring opening (14) at a region thereof different from that closed by closing element (15); closing element (15) is formed in one piece with protruding portion (24) extending through pouring opening (14) and welded to closure (18) far away from closing element (15).
EFFECT: invention relates to an opening device for a container, in particular for a sealed container for packaging pourable food products, and to a method for producing such an opening device.
