FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: armored mounting cable, mainly explosion-proof, including the one for the intrinsically safe circuits, is intended for transmission of electrical energy, information signals, communication signals and for fixed inter-device installation of electrical devices of industrial enterprises, including in the explosive zones of all classes using various methods of explosion protection, including the “intrinsically safe circuit”. Cable comprises the core out of at least one insulated conductor core or the group of the mentioned conductors, pre-twisted between each other into a pair or triplet or tetrade. Over the core, the filler, armor and polymeric moisture-proof shell are applied. Armor is made in the form of the braid or winding made of bimetallic steel-copper wires and at the same time is the common shield. Steel-copper wire has the steel core, on which the copper layer with the cross-sectional area not exceeding 60 % is applied.
EFFECT: cables according to this invention represent the more economical structure than the traditional one.
