SUBSTANCE: method for sealing air gaps in cable products. Insulation is applied over the core, then a core is formed with sealing along the inner layers of at least two insulated conductive cores with the imposition of individual screens on them and sealing under the individual screen, then the outer gaps of the core are sealed, then a common screen is applied, then air gaps are sealed above the common screen, then armour is applied, the armour is sealed with the application of an outer sheath on the extrusion line, and a three-component silicone compound based on silicone rubber is used for sealing, consisting of a base, a mixture of inorganic fire retardants and a catalyst.

EFFECT: increasing the longitudinal tightness of the electric cable, increasing fire safety in explosive environments, resistance to mechanical shock and hydrostatic pressure.
