FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical disconnector unit (1) for interrupting a wire. Disconnector unit (1) includes a contact system and electromagnetic actuating means (5, 6). Contact system has first and second fixed contacts (2, 3), as well as guided movable contact (4). Electromagnetic actuating means (5, 6) are arranged to move movable contact (4). Disconnector unit (1) can assume first and second states, in the first state, there is no electrical connection between first and second fixed contacts (2, 3) and in the second state, movable contact (4) electrically connects two fixed contacts (2, 3) to each other. Disconnector unit (1), by moving movable contact (4), can be moved from the second state to the first state. Second fixed contact (3) has recess (31) for placing movable contact (4), movable contact (4) is at least partially inserted into recess (31) when disconnector unit 1 is in the first state.

EFFECT: technical result is faster switching.
