FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: device is intended for stripping off material from conveying belt (2) of a belt conveyor in the region of the rounding of discharge drum (1) beneath the discharge location of the belt conveyor. Device comprises multiplicity of stripping-off members (3), which are arranged in a row one beside the other and are carried by elongate, spaced-apart flexible carrying elements. Stripping-off member (3) comprises first stripping-off element (3.1) and second stripping-off element (3.2) which follows the first stripping-off element in the running direction (LR) of the conveying belt (2). Stripping-off element is provided with lifting mechanism (3.3) which causes first stripping-off element (3.1) to be raised off from stripping-off (2) wherein it is displaced in the running direction (LR) of its movement. First stripping-off element (3.1) is mounted on stripping-off member (3) movably with respect to lifting mechanism (3.3). First stripping-off element is fixed to rod (3.4), which is held movably in guide (3.5), where lifting mechanism (3.3) is arranged or formed.

EFFECT: improved cleaning is provided with gentle handling of the belt conveyor.
