SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to embodiments of vehicle system for detecting and minimising injury of an object for identifying an object in the event of a collision. System includes a collision detection unit that includes a collision sensor and a pressure sensor unit. Collision sensor has portions of first and second tubes filled with a fluid. Pressure sensor unit has a housing, as well as first and second pressure sensors located in the housing. Portion of the first tube of the collision sensor is connected to the first pressure sensor, and a portion of the second tube of the collision sensor is connected to the second pressure sensor. Pressure sensor unit measures changes in pressure of the fluid in the tubes. According to one embodiment, portions of the tubes of the collision sensor form a closed loop. According to another embodiment, at least one segment of the first tube portion and at least one segment of the second tube portion have a common axis.

EFFECT: enabling determination of severity, location and width of the collision.
