FIELD: control; regulation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the method and device for monitoring the flight-navigation complex. To control the flight-navigation complex, it is continuously calculated onboard of the object its location, the current values of the horizontal projections of the wind speed vector in the conventional rectangular coordinate system, compare them with the previously calculated estimates from the meteorological forecast on the object flight route, record the failure of the piloting and navigation system when significant differences appear when comparing values. Monitoring device contains ground and air speed sensors, a drift angle sensor, seven adders, three subtraction circuits, a heading sensor, a map angle adjuster, two coordinate converters, two memory cells, two switches, two integrators, two coordinate locators, an indicator, wind selector, two functional converters, two comparators, an OR logical circuit, connected in a certain way. Coordinate converter consist of two functional converters, two multipliers.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the detection of the failure of the flight-navigation complex, the accuracy of monitoring parameters is provided.
