SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. Invention is a method for determining the productivity of meat hens in embryogenesis, including the selection of embryos on day 7 and 14 of the incubation period, on the 7th and 14th day the activity of amylase in hybrids and parental lines in the embryo tissue is examined, if the indices of amylase activity hybrids are 2 and more times higher than the parameters of the parent lines, it is concluded that they posses higher growth rate and meat productivity.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to detect hybrids and their parental lines in the embryogenesis process, using the activity of amylolytic enzymes in embryonic tissue, with high meat production.
