FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method lies in the following: quickly-growing and slow-growing forms of poultry are determined by total content of nitro- and nitroiso- compounds. Total content of nitro- and nitroiso- compounds is determined in contents of embryo allantois at final stage of pre-fetus period. In quickly growing forms said index is 4 and more times higher than in slow-growing ones.
EFFECT: method allows to predict meat productivity of phenotypically unexpressed individuals without damage to embryo viability.
