SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sports simulators, in particular, to the means for training weightlifters and athletes of all-around. Sports simulator for creating a variable dynamic load contains a base on which the U-shaped stand with a crossbar is attached, two guides fixed between the base and the crossbar, the rod of the rod rigidly connected to the fastening elements mounted on its ends, which are movable along the guides and attached to the movable members of the load generating device. Load generating device is connected through a shaft with movable elements located on both sides thereof, a dynamic load parameter measuring device connected to the control device is connected to the shaft, and the load generating device is configured to provide predetermined parameters of the dynamic load on the rod of the rod through the movable members in accordance with the control action of the control device given by the training process. Load generating device is made in the form of an electric motor, a stepper motor, a linear motor, an air motor or a hydraulic motor. Movable elements are made in the form of chain, or gear-belt, or rack gears, and the fastening elements are made in the form of bushings.

EFFECT: dynamic load parameters measuring device is made in the form of a rod position sensor, a rod load sensor and a rod speed sensor, the specified dynamic load parameters include the direction of travel, the force and the speed of the rod bar movement at different sections of the trajectory.
