FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise suppression equipment. Silencer comprises a cylindrical housing rigidly connected with end inlet and outlet branch pipes, into the housing, perpendicular to the aerodynamic flow movement direction, at least two disks with forming the chambers holes are installed, wherein the discs orifices are alternately displaced relative to the housing axis so, that the holes in the two adjacent discs do not coincide, wherein the discs orifices are alternately displaced relative to the housing axis so, that the holes in the two adjacent discs do not coincide. Housing is made of structural materials with applied on its surface from one or two sides soft vibration dampening material layer. In the chambers sound-absorbing annular elements and sound-absorbing round elements are installed.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of noise suppression.
