FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the noise suppression equipment. In the method, the silencer contains a cylindrical body rigidly connected to the end inlet and outlet nozzles, at least two disks with holes are formed in the body, perpendicular to the direction of movement of the aerodynamic flow, wherein the discs orifices are alternately displaced relative to the body axis so, that the holes in the two adjacent discs do not coincide. Said body is made of structural materials, with a layer of soft vibration-damping material deposited on its surface on one or both sides. Coaxial to the body, sound-absorbing ring elements are installed in the chambers, each of which is made in the form of rigid and perforated walls, between which there are layers of sound-reflecting and sound-absorbing materials of different density, arranged in two layers, layers of sound absorbing material are of complex profile composed of evenly distributed hollow tetrahedrons, which are located respectively at the rigid and perforated walls, and the layers of sound-absorbing material made of insulating material.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of noise suppression.
