FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines (ICE) fuel injection systems. Fuel filter (1) comprises filter element (4), as well as filler tank (13) in housing (2, 3). Filter element comes into contact with removable cover (3) of the housing and has filtering apparatus (5) arranged annularly around interior space (9). In this inner space (9), additive release device (32) is arranged to distribute the liquid additive from tank (13) to fuel circuit (C1) for the internal combustion engine. Additive passes through the sealed distribution channel (DC) of the device selectively, depending on the configuration of the opening or closing of drive component (62) associated with the distribution channel. Distribution channel (DC) exits into fuel channel (52) of lid (3) having a larger cross section than the distribution channel (DC).
EFFECT: fuel filter with an additive release device is proposed.
