SUBSTANCE: invention relates to airlifts and concerns the passengers protection carried in a chairlift chair, in particular children. Device for passenger protection comprises a main safety bar mounted on the seat for rotation between a raised position where the access is provided to the seat and a lowered position in which the passengers in the seat are protected. besides it comprises an auxiliary safety bar mounted on the seat for rotation between the raised position where the access is provided to the seat and a lowered position in which the passengers in the seat are protected. Each auxiliary safety bar contains locking devices designed to prevent the auxiliary safety bar from turning to its raised position when the main safety bar occupies its lowered position.
EFFECT: it is possible to reduce the risk of a passenger falling out, in particular a child.
