FIELD: methods and devices for metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the laser welding method and fixed under the focusing lens laser welding head (1). Laser welding head includes at least one annular nozzle (5) for the shielding gas injection and protective chamber (3) for the focusing lens protection through the transverse air flow. Annular nozzle (5) is located around passing through the laser welding head (1) non-overlapped optical axis (O). Focusing lens protecting chamber (3) through the transverse air flow includes air (9) inlet and air outlet (10) matched to the air inlet (9) in the plane, which is substantially perpendicular to the said optical axis (O). Laser welding head (1) is fixed to this focusing lens without any side opening between the focusing lens and the said protective chamber (3). Head has distance (d) of at least 100 mm between the annular nozzle (5) outlet (18) and the said protective chamber (3).
EFFECT: invention aims at providing a laser welding head for attachment in a laser focusing lens and comprising at least one ring nozzle for the injection of a protective gas, arranged around an optical axis and a chamber protection of the objective lens by a transverse air flow.
