SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to cast iron compositions, and can be used for the manufacture of thermal units details. Cast iron contains, wt. %: carbon 3.2–4.5; silicon 1.2–1.8; manganese 1.7–2.6; cerium 0.2–0.3; lanthanum 0.2–0.3; neodymium 2.5–3.0; praseodymium 2.5–3.0; aluminium 4.5–6.5; erbium 2.5–3.0; rest is iron.
EFFECT: cast iron has a high thermal resistance.
