FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to cast iron compositions, which can be used to manufacture parts of thermal units. Cast iron contains, wt%: carbon 3.2–4.5; silicon 1.2–1.8; manganese 1.7–2.6; cerium 0.05–0.1; aluminum 1.5–2.5; tungsten 1.0–1.5; cobalt 1.0–1.5; copper 1.7–2.3; silver 0.005–0.01; iron – the balance.
EFFECT: technical result is higher heat resistance of cast iron.
