SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for controlling the degree of conversion of isoprene to a polymer. Control of the degree of conversion of isoprene into a polymer in the catalytic process of synthesis of polyisoprene polymerization of isoprene in the mass in a batch reactor with a cooled jacket is performed by evaluating the indirect process characteristics. As the indirect characteristics of the process, the difference in the current values of the temperature of the reaction mixture (monomer and catalyst) Tt and reactor wall temperatures Tw and on this basis the average value of monomer conversion Uavg in the form of dependence .
EFFECT: technical result is the expansion of the range and the improvement of the accuracy of automatic control over the degree of conversion of isoprene to the polymer during polymerization.
