FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to navigation and can be used in automatic control systems of a discrete electric drive. Stepping motor runner is made in the form of a ratchet wheel made of a magnetically conductive material. Stator is made up of two structural blocks – a converter and a clamp. Converter is built on the basis of a magnetostrictive rod controlled by the magnetic field of the coil. Kinematic connection of the rod to the ratchet wheel is provided by an elastic pusher. Latch is a polarized electromagnet located in a plane perpendicular to the ratchet wheel. Switching device based on typical elements of electronics. Control signal is a short rectangular pulse, the same for all rotational speeds of the rotor.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the improvement of manufacturability.
