PLUG CONNECTOR Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC H01R4/24

Abstract RU 2659815 C2

FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to connector (1) for making an electrical connection between electric wire (5) and printed circuit board (4). Electrical connector (1) comprises insulating body (2) which has a plurality of cavities (20) for receiving contact elements (3). In slot (24) in insertion side (11) of insulating body (2), PCB (4) can be inserted into plug connector (1) and contact element (3) is contacted by means of the first contact sides (31) provided in insertion side (11). Opposite to first contact side (31), contact elements (3) have second contact side (32) which is provided for contacting electric wire (5) with insulation cutting.

EFFECT: due to the arrangement of contact elements (3) in insulating body (2), a particularly compact implementation of plug connector (1) can be realized.
