FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to location technology and can be used in object search systems and in radiolocation. Result is achieved due to the use of scanning antennas for elevation angle, scanning control unit, block for determining two signal amplitude maxima, block of two alignment elements, wherein the output of the scanning control unit is connected to the inputs of the first and second scanning antennas in the elevation angle and with the third input of a block of two alignment elements having a first and second inputs connected to the first and second outputs of the detection unit of the two signal amplitude maxima, having first and second inputs, respectively, connected to the output of the first amplitude selector and the output of the second amplitude selector, wherein the first and second outputs of the block of the two alignment elements are respectively connected to the first and second inputs of the time interval determination unit.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of determining the direction of pulse radiators without increasing the unhandiness.
