SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems that capture and reuse waste heat. Installation for capturing heat, storing heat and heat exchange, including at least one array for heat exchange and storage of heat (TXES), wherein each TXES array includes one or more TXES elements that receive a fluid stream of a heated original fluid and a working fluid, herewith the TXES elements provide thermal energy transfer between the heated original fluid and the TXES elements. Collector system supplies the working fluid to the input of the TXES elements and receives the working fluid from the output of the TXES elements, at least one heat engine, which is designed to work with the TXES array, extracts heat from the TXES array and converts it into mechanical energy. Wherein a thermal engine is selectively connected to the TXES array collector system to pass the working fluid through the TXES elements, so that there is the transfer of thermal energy between the working fluid and the TXES elements. Variant of the installation for capturing, storing heat and heat exchange and a method of assembling such an installation are also presented.
EFFECT: invention provides more effective capture and transfer of thermal energy from a heat source into one or more working fluids.
