FIELD: thermal engineering. SUBSTANCE: power plant has circulating heat-transfer loops running from photo-thermal and photo-electric heat generators provided with parabolic-cylindrical mirror concentrator modules and high-temperature (preferably Ga-As) photocells with high-accuracy optical correction of power loss. Power plant incorporates high-temperature loop with solar collectors, second steam-power circuit with working medium possessing better thermodynamic properties compared with water. Power plant is equipped with positive-displacement rotary steam engine offering advantages over turbine concerning reliability and metal input.
