SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a binder composition on a water-soluble basis, a method for producing an article and an article. Water-soluble binder composition improves structural integrity and insulation properties when applied to a cellulosic substrate. Binder composition includes a plurality of microspheres and obtained by polymerization in an emulsion polymer, which has (I) a modulus of elasticity of more than 0.5 MPa in a temperature range of 70 °C to 110 °C; (II) the absolute value of the tangent of the slope of the log(E)/T curve is less than 0.05 in the temperature range from 70 °C to 110 °C; and (III) the tan delta value is less than 0.6 at 90 °C.
EFFECT: increased insulation properties and structural integrity of the cellulose sheet.
