FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an energy storage device. Energy storage device comprises: an energy storage element, a performance table and a current control element. Current control element selects the characteristic according to the charging level of the energy storage element determined from the table, sets the voltage of the selected control characteristic at the reference point for charging and discharging the energy storage element, performs charging and discharging through the converter in accordance with the voltage of the DC power supply system in accordance with the regulation characteristic.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve the efficiency of charging and discharging the energy storage element.
