BATTERY CHARGING STATE MONITORING METHOD Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC H02J7/00 G01R31/36 H01M10/48

Abstract RU 2691963 C2

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of monitoring the state of charging a battery of a vehicle. It is achieved by the fact that the battery current is determined at the moments when the charging voltage of the battery is reduced to the specified limit value. Battery current determined is transmitted to an evaluation unit which generates a warning signal if battery discharge is determined using the determined battery current for a given period of time of monitoring. Limit value of battery charging voltage is selected so that by means of algorithm according to invention it is possible to identify, whether state of battery charging is higher or lower than threshold value, above which capacity of battery is guaranteed to perform certain electric functions.

EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of simpler method for control of battery charging state, by means of which it is possible to ensure sufficiently high state of battery charging.
