SUBSTANCE: invention relates to leak testing of devices and can be used to test the functional suitability of a leakage testing device. Testing device (10) comprises test gas container (12), which is provided with test leak (24) for producing a test gas flow at a predefined leakage rate. Test leak (24) comprises at least one capillary tube, which connects interior (20) of test gas container (12) to its outer surroundings (22). Test gas container (12) is at least partially made of a flexible material, allowing the volume of test gas container (12) to be adapted to the reduction of the amount of gas therein in such a way that the leakage rate from test device (10) is constant for a relatively long period time.
EFFECT: technical result is ensuring a constant leak rate from the test device over a relatively long period of time without the installation of additional means to maintain constant pressure inside the container.
