SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication. With the help of the policy management unit in the mobile communication network, a control on signaling of information on the overload of mobile objects in a quantity of congestion control units that monitor which mobile objects are experiencing an overload condition in the radio access network in the mobile communication network, while receiving an indication from one of the overload control units that one of the mobile objects is experiencing an overload condition, storing one of said overload control units from which an indication is received as the current overload monitoring unit for said mobile entity, receive an indication from another overload control unit that the mobile unit is experiencing an overload condition, indicate to the current congestion control unit the release of the congestion information relating to said mobile entity in response to an indication from the other monitoring unit.

EFFECT: technical result is the efficiency of providing the correct overload information for a mobile object, while minimizing the exchange of signals between the affected nodes in the network.
