SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to compositions of iron-based alloys that can be used for the manufacture of pipes, valves, cranes and other products. Iron-based alloy contains, by mass %: manganese 0.06–0.1; chromium 0.14–0.2; molybdenum 0.03–0.05; boron 0.002–0.003; copper 0.2–0.3; titanium 0.001–0.003; calcium 0.005–0.01; aluminium 0.1–0.14; magnesium 0.005–0.01; rest is iron.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high plasticity.
