FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, namely to building blocks for the erection of buildings, structures and small architectural forms, as well as to the method of assembling building blocks. Building block made in the form of a parallelepiped contains three pairs of opposite faces, including four side faces and two faces that are upper and lower bases, each of the faces comprises a plurality of elements forming protrusions and recesses, each element having the shape of a regular pyramid with rounded ribs, and the angle at the apex of the pyramid between two opposite faces is in the range of from 90 to 179.9 degrees, preferably from 90 to 150, more preferably from 90 to 120, and most preferably at an angle of 90 degrees. Protrusions and indentations are arranged in rows and columns, and on each face of the parallelepiped of the base of the pyramids are located in one plane, which is the face of the parallelepiped, and the corresponding sides of the bases of the pyramids are parallel to the faces of the parallelepiped, sides of the base of the pyramid forming the protrusion are adjacent to the corresponding sides of the bases of the adjacent pyramids forming the recesses. On side faces of the parallelepiped, the number of protrusions in the rows and columns is equal to the number of depressions and their sum in rows and columns is equal to an even number, so that alternating protrusions and indentations in rows and columns on the side faces are observed, and on the upper and lower bases of the parallelepiped the rows and columns are mutually perpendicular, and the number of protrusions in the rows and columns is not equal to the number of depressions and their sum is equal to an odd number, sum of the number of protrusions and recesses in the rows being equal to the sum of the number of protrusions and indentations in the columns, so that the protrusions and recesses in the rows and columns on the bases of the parallelepiped are alternated. Protrusions and indentations on the sides of the block ensure the alignment of the four blocks, three of which have pairwise adjacent faces, located perpendicular to each other and contacting along the ribs, and alignment of the fourth block with the said three is carried out along a linear trajectory passing through the junction point of the three faces, at an angle to each of the lateral faces of the three blocks in the range of 45 to 89.95 angular degrees. Also the block variants and variants of the method for assembling the building blocks are described.

EFFECT: invention can be used to erect a masonry without use of a solution.
