FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, namely a building block for building a wall. Proposed are a building block and a facade wall characterized by a high structural strength and versatility. Building block (10) contains front wall (11) and back wall (12) that are parallel to each other; upper wall (13) in which horizontal groove (13A) is formed to install a horizontal reinforcing element; side walls (15) in which at least one vertical groove (14) is formed for the installation of a vertical reinforcing element; at least one vertical hole formed between two side walls (15(R)) and (15(L)), said hole is covered on the top with upper wall (13) and is open on the bottom surface; protrusions formed on the bottom surface in a shape that provides engaging capabilities with horizontal groove (13A); and recessed grooves formed in the vertical direction, respectively, on the ends on either side of front wall (11) and back wall (12). Also a variant of such block and variants of such facade wall made of such blocks are described.
EFFECT: proposed are a building block and facade wall made using such blocks.
