FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely a battery assembly that includes two or more battery modules connected in series with each other, for example in the form of a six-component battery pack. Battery assembly includes a plurality of battery modules that include a plurality of battery cells, a battery holder, a second electrode assembly including a plurality of second electrode bus plates, a first electrode assembly, and a cover. First electrode assembly includes a plurality of first electrode bar plates, a first electrode terminal, a second electrode terminal connected to one of the plurality of second electrode bar plates, as well as an interelectrode bus connecting the second electrode bar plate and either the first electrode bar plate or the first electrode terminal. Assembly of the first electrode is made according to a first or a second structure. Location of the first electrode terminal and the second electrode terminal in the battery module differs depending on the design of the first electrode assembly.
EFFECT: increased reliability of the connection of the terminals of the first and second electrodes by means of eliminating their improper electrical connection between the battery modules, as well as the reduction in heat generation between the battery modules is a technical result of the invention.
