FIELD: wireless communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to wireless data transmission networks. First computing device comprising one or more processors and one or more transceiver components can receive the signal transmission packet containing the physical layer preamble (PHY). Within the PHY preamble the first computing device can identify one or more signal fields (SIG), at least one of the said one or more SIG fields includes the length field indicating the signal transmission packet length. Based on the length field the first computing device can determine, that the signal transmission packet is associated with the predetermined communication standard used for the signal transmitting packet transmission. First computing device can decode the signal transmission packet based on determination that the signal transmission packet is associated with the predetermined communication standard.

EFFECT: proposed are signal classification systems and methods.
