SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electronic messaging, namely to revoking a sent message. For this purpose, the method comprises receiving a message revoke instruction according to a message identifier, enclosed in the message revoke instruction, and confirming a storage path of a network resource to be deleted based on a relation between the storage path of the downloaded target network resource and the target message identifier, and deleting the network resource on the storage path and the target message to be revoked.
EFFECT: technical result is to automatically delete the target network resource after the target network resource is downloaded by a user to his/her terminal, thereby avoiding leakage of network resources, and ensuring the integrity for revoking the message.
