FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the elements of pneumatic systems of brake equipment of rolling stock of rail transport. Automatic regulator contains a regulating screw mounted in the body with regulating and traction nuts mounted on it, made with the possibility of one-sided sequential movement along the axis of the adjusting screw under the action of the braking force and the return spring. Control and traction nuts consist of spring-loaded segments in constant engagement with a regulating screw having a self-locking stop thread, forming a screw pair with it. There is a retainer is placed between the control and traction nuts. Retainer is rigidly connected in the axial direction with the adjusting nut and interacts with the traction nut with the provision, when an axially compressive force along the regulator axis occurs, of the fixation force of the segments of the traction nut on the adjusting screw.
EFFECT: increase in operational reliability, efficiency of operation and increase in the service life of the automatic regulator is achieved.
