FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a drive connecting link for connecting a reciprocating knife with a drive element. Reciprocating knife comprises at least one elongated bar having a longitudinal extension and attached to the blades. At least one elongated bar is supported on support members that limit the reciprocating motion of at least one elongated bar in a direction parallel to the longitudinal extension of at least one elongated bar. Drive connecting link comprises a first elongated strip, adapted to be attached to at least one elongated bar, a second elongated strip, adapted to be attached to at least one elongated bar, and means for bending the first elongated strip relative to the second elongated strip, for bending the first elongated strip relative to the drive member, and for bending the second elongated strip relative to the drive member.
EFFECT: reduction in the tension of the elongated bar reciprocating the knife and in the breakage probability is provided.
