FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: feeding drum is made cylindrical and hollow, and has a shaft passing through the drum and supporting it with the possibility of rotation about the drum rotation axis. The shaft has a displaced portion extending parallel thereto and spaced apart from the drum rotation axis. The fingers extending through the feeding drum surface are fixed on the displaced shaft portion with the possibility of rotation. While rotating, the fingers are laterally displaced and compress the vegetable heap in the lateral direction inward towards the central axial part of the feeding drum.
EFFECT: improving the technological process of harvesting.
