FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to building materials and can be used to prepare slag fillers for production of lightweight concrete. Method of preparation of aggregate from fuel slag for lightweight concrete includes the crushing of fuel slag into fractions 0.005–0.040 m, its moistening to a humidity of 15–30 %, dusting with waste of chrysotile cement production and processing with a film-forming composition consisting of 30–45 % PVA dispersion, 45–65 % liquid glass and 5–10 % water.
EFFECT: increase the strength, heat-protective properties of lightweight concrete with a lower binder consumption.
