FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the arrangement of electric power units. Vehicle equipped with a running electric motor comprises two front posts, an instrument panel connecting the two front posts to each other, two lateral structural elements, an electric power unit disposed between two lateral structural elements, an electric power converter and a first auxiliary frame member. Power converter is located adjacent to the electric power unit and is in the uppermost location. First frame auxiliary member lies in such a way that, when viewed in the transverse direction of the vehicle, the first frame auxiliary member overlaps the electric power converter, or through a location that is higher in the vertical direction of the vehicle than the power converter. First end of the first frame accessory is connected to one of the front pillars and the second end to one of the side members of the structure at a location more shifted forward than the power converter.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the protection against damages affecting the power converter.
