FIELD: physics, nuclear physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment used for radiation monitoring of technological processes. Equipment for radiation monitoring of technological processes contains detection unit connected to threshold node consisting of input digital pulse counter; clock generator, timer digital pulse counter, which input is connected to output of clock generator, and output is connected to reset input of input digital pulse counter; threshold RS-flip-flop, input R of which is connected to output of input digital pulse counter and reset input of timer digital pulse counter, input S is connected to input of reset digital pulse counter and to output of timer digital pulse counter, and output is control output of threshold control unit. Threshold RS-flip-flop is configured to generate control signal when value of input frequency signal of threshold frequency is exceeded, wherein control signal is intended to be transmitted to actuators or process equipment. Apparatus also comprises node for determining fault of threshold node and detection unit for detecting failure of detection unit for periodic diagnostics.
EFFECT: increase in safety of technological process by simultaneous increase in speed of response to accident and reliability of radiation monitoring equipment.
